 Rebalancing cortical circuits has potential to treat many diseases including epilepsy, pain, addiction, mood disorders and other psychiatric, neurological, and neurodegenerative disorders. Targeting ion channels is the most direct way to balance inhibitory and excitatory neuronal balance.

GRIK Therapeutics is built on the identification and elucidation of molecular parameters controlling and regulating ion channels. We flow those insights into rational, structure based drug design to create precision therapies for difficult to treat diseases. 

 Leveraging the platform of molecular mechanistic pharmacology combined with sophisticated computational approaches, we can now aim to solve some of the most complex disease paradigms.
